Many people were addicted to steroids. There was an evidence as they continued to take steroids though there were negative effects on social relations and physical problems and also irritability. When steroids are used in high doses, then there is increase in aggression and irritability. Users commit aggressive acts like armed robbery or physical fighting, vandalism, theft or burglary. The mood and behavioral changes were observed during anabolic-androgenic steroid abuse may result from secondary hormonal changes.
Other behavioral effects like increased energy, euphoria, sexual arousal, destructibility, mood swings, confusion and forgetfulness. If persons take high dose of steroids then it disrupts their ability to function in their jobs or in society.
