About Ted Silva

TedsilvaTed Silva comes from Redondo Beach, California, United States. He had schooling in Redondo Beach, California. He graduated in 1992 and served as an assistant coach in Villa Park High School in 2004. Recently Silva has won credits for his achievement.

Under the able guidance of Jason Gill, a former Titan teammate Silva went to Loyola Marymount in 2011. Jason Gill is Silva’s friend.

Silva became an All-America pitcher at Cal State Fullerton in 1995. He made the UC Irvine team to become a nationally-acclaimed team from 2008-10. The team made to NCAA Regionals. It won the Big West Conference title in 2009.

When Silva was in second year, he was selected by Collegiate Baseball for All-American second-team, became 4-4 with a 2.29 ERA and 13 saves, and became the third in the history of Titan.

Before he became a coach, he excelled at Cal State Fullerton from 1993-95. In 1995, Silva closed Big West Conference Pitcher of the Year and became the leader at national level. Silva has to his credit 26-7 in his career. He is the fourth-most in school history. Silva’s role was critical to bring national honor to the Titans.
