Nissan Sales in North America Increased by 10.4% in January, 2012

Nissan North America announced their sales reports with increasing at a rate of 10.4%. NNA sold 79,313 units in January, 2012 which is more than January 2011 (71,847 units) sales.

Nissan motors divisional sales in January, 2012 also increased, which had 12.5% sales growth with 72,517 vehicle sales, these sales are more than January, 2011 sales 64,442 units. Nissan trucks had 21.6% sales growth for January month, in that Frontier received 35.3% sales growth and Pathfinder received 30.6% sales growth.

Nissan Infinite sales dropped in January, 2012 with 8.2% with 6,796 units sold which is less than 7,405 units in January, 2011; Infinite QX luxury car sales increased at 30.4% to sell 1,020 units.

Nissan Rogue sales were up with 5.1% growth to sell 9,904 vehicles. Versa sold 9,418 units to increased sales growth with 8.5% over than last year.

Al Castignetti, Nissan division voice president and general manager said, “Nissan carrying last year performance for future also”. Nissan received benefits from January from key models like Rogue, Altima, Versa, Frontier etc.
