How Does Marijuana Addiction Affect a Family?

Addiction of marijuana affect a family in different ways. Marijuana can be abused either by smoking or drinking or eating by mixing this drug in food or drinks. Person who abuses marijuana will loss his state of mind and will be in a dream land. He or she will not concentrate on the situations and things in the surroundings.

Marijuana use by a family member can have a bad effect financially on the whole family. Marijuana is an illegal drug and the money spent on that drug will reflect on the bills, household expenses, groceries. It sometimes leads to stealing or theft who are caught could face court fines and sometimes jail time.

Marijuana use can cause severe health problems and sometimes causes injuries due to accidents and the cost for the treatment will be very high which a family can’t bear financially.
The use of marijuana can depress the person physically and mentally which costs more to regain his lost valuable life. All the family members should suffer a lot to regain his life physically or mentally.

The parents will be depressed by seeing their children in the dangerous condition and they can’t get him/her back even spending much money a lot.

The persons who use marijuana will not be able to participate in family activities, real emotions and can’t even spend time with their family. They will react highly in silly situations and can’t control their minds. They want to spend all the time alone by not interacting with others which makes them to addict more and more.

Use of marijuana also worsens anxiety, panic, intense thoughts which are the factors of impacting a family. Problems arise in learning, memory, problem solving which effects the persons to struggle in their academics and makes it hard to concentrate in their studies which effects the educational life as well as social life. With use of marijuana the persons will not be respected and encouraged to participate in certain activities which are necessary in educational or personal life.
