In recent times everyone is affected by the change in world markets, fall of all stock markets but one more incident affects Pakistan citizens due to earth quake. Earth quake is caused naturally it cannot be stopped but relative measures to avoid huge loss of mankind and other resources can be done.
On Wednesday October 29 2008, deadly earth quake hit the Balochistan region of south western Pakistan. The recorded magnitude was 6.4 quake struck approximately 70 km north of Quetta at 04.09 local time and has a depth of 10 km. many houses were collapsed due to both earth quake and landslides that earth quake generated and more than 160 people are killed and at least 200 were injured. The death rate may increase as the rescue and recovery continues.
Seventy-three years ago Quetta was almost completely destroyed due to an earth quake and 35,000 people lost their lives in this incident.
