Do you believe in numerology? Or at least a fact that numbers can predict the future?
I don’t know about the first one but there may be some chances for numbers to predict future. It is not a magical or voodoo thing. It is just straight and simple science. And some mathematics with a little knowledge on management.
Lets say that two trains are traveling in opposite directions at different speeds; algebra allows you to calculate the time within which they are going to meet with each other. Isn’t it the future?
Coming back to the management, we have many strategies like marketing research, business intelligence, which many big organizations use to predict the future of their industry. When you look at those numbers, its all about numbers and nothing nut numbers.
Apart from that, I wish that somebody would prove that it is possible to predict future in real life like in those Hollywood movies “The Number 23”, “Knowing”, etc.
